Eileen has been painting for 35 years in the Loveland area. Working primarily in oils, she paints portraits, landscapes and still life. She graduated from the Famous Artists School in Connecticut and has studied with Robert Baterman, Dee Toscano, David Leffel and Charles Cross in painting workshops. She has also taken classes in drawing and painting at Colorado State University. Eileen has won several 1st place ribbons and served as judge for shows and county fairs in Weld and Larimer County.
Intrinsic details in scenery along with personal reflections and artistic observations characterize her painting. A love of the mountains and the outdoors inspire her art.
Recently Eileen has joined the Plein Air Painters in Estes Park and won the Mayors Choice Award in August of 2007. Her recent works can be seen at the Link Gallery in Cheyenne, Wyoming and the Blackhawk Gallery in Saratoga, Wyoming.
A love of antique paintings has prompted Eileen to repair, clean and restore antique paintings for the past 15 years.
Eileen and her husband Frank have been Loveland residents for over 42 years.
